She never took me seriously but in my head I was always like, ‘I just have to prove how mature I am to her.’ That definitely wasn’t the case. So, I kind of took it upon myself to play out in my head how the story would end if I fully pursued her. ‘For her I feel like I would die in the ring’ meaning I didn’t think I had a fighting chance. There’s a first time for everything. Don’t be too closed off to ideas you usually wouldn’t consider.”
