Emerging independent singer-songwriter 26 Hold’n unveils his latest single, “Last Name.” The track, blending smooth trap soul and R&B, captivates listeners with its hypnotic beat and irresistible hook.

Hailing from the Sunshine State but now calling Colorado Springs home, 26 Hold’n brings a fresh perspective and sound to the music scene. Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of artists, including Bryson Tiller, J. Cole and Tory Lanez, 26 Hold’n fuses elements of R&B and hip-hop to create a signature sound uniquely his own.

Reflecting on the creation of “Last Name”, 26 Hold’n shares, “The song came to me in the early months of 2021. I had initially only completed the first verse before moving on to other projects. Not long ago, I was going through my lyrics for various songs and stumbled across the verse and instrumental again. If I were to assume the inspiration for the single, I’d say I was writing about the stereotypical hard to get girls that I would encounter at parties/clubs in that era of my life. I’ve always had pretty good luck for getting who I want, and I feel this song expresses a lot of that confidence.”

With its infectious melody and introspective lyrics, “Last Name” showcases the evolution of 26 Hold’n as an artist and his ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with audiences. “Last Name” is out now on all platforms.
