The Good Neighbors, a genre-blending collective of friends hailing from Buffalo, New York, have unveiled their latest single, “Moonlight Shoreside”. Led by songwriters Connor Getz and Jacob Frasier, The Good Neighbors aim to encapsulate the collective human experience through their fusion of jazz, pop and indie sounds.

“Moonlight Shoreside” is an indie-pop gem that showcases The Good Neighbors’ knack for crafting infectious melodies and thought-provoking lyrics. With influences ranging from Empire Of The Sun to Tame Impala, this track promises to captivate listeners with its dreamy atmosphere and introspective themes.

Reflecting on the creation of the single, The Good Neighbors share, “First iterations of the track were started back in 2019. After taking a break from the song and collaborating on many edits, the song has reached what we believe is the best version to convey the original emotional inspirations. The track is focused on feelings of intimacy with uncertainty of reciprocation.”

Inspired by a night shared with a close friend along the shores of a beach, “Moonlight Shoreside” paints a vivid picture of playful flirtation under the moonlit sky. However, amidst the beauty of the moment, there lingers a fear of jeopardising the friendship – a theme that resonates deeply throughout the song.

“Moonlight Shoreside” is out now on all platforms.
