Independent singer-songwriter jaqueline has added another single to her growing body of work with the release of “Come to Regret” via Now Listen.
The 16-year-old Romanian artist has taken on several roles behind the track, writing, performing and co-producing the song. Tsee (Tudor Sinca) also handled production and engineering, while Victor Solomon contributed guitar.
The single revolves around the uncertainty of developing feelings for someone whose actions repeatedly leave the relationship in question. Its lyrics explore the difference between what someone hopes will happen and what actually unfolds, with jaqueline drawing on the emotional difficulties of wanting a connection that may never be fully returned.
Following “Grace”, the new release forms part of jaqueline’s plans to build a regular output of original music. With more than 30 completed songs to her name, it looks like there is plenty more music on the way for fans to look forward to over the next year.
