The title Just a Daydream captures the spirit of AMBER’s debut EP perfectly. Inspired by the moments we replay, imagine and sometimes romanticise, these five songs follow the emotional path from hope and attraction to heartbreak, forgiveness and self-acceptance.
That journey unfolds naturally across the EP. “St Tropez” and “Obsession” lean into the excitement of possibility, while “Say What” injects a welcome burst of energy with its playful look at crossed signals and unspoken feelings. As the EP reaches “Find Love” and “Aromatherapy”, the writing becomes more introspective, bringing the collection to a calm and satisfying end.
Musically, AMBER moulds classic pop into a sound that feels rich without becoming overcomplicated. The arrangements support the stories being told, allowing the emotions behind each song to remain clear while creating a vivid musical backdrop.
Made in collaboration with producer Kipper Eldridge, Just a Daydream feels carefully crafted from start to finish.
