Rising independent artist Nolan Lewis unveils his latest musical endeavour with the release of his EP, Do your eyeballs ever feel warm? The six-track project showcases Nolan’s diverse musical talents and serves as a testament to his commitment to championing black and queer artists in the industry.

Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, and currently based in Bethesda, MD, and Middletown, CT, Nolan Lewis has been making waves with his infectious pop-rap sound. After gaining recognition for his music from actress Beanie Feldstein, Nolan continued to solidify his place in the music scene with the release of his previous album, PLASTIQUE (Deluxe), in December 2023. Nolan’s remix of Nicki Minaj’s hit track “FTCU” further catapulted him into the spotlight, garnering over three million views on TikTok.

Now, with the release of Do your eyeballs ever feel warm?, Nolan delves into his a cappella and choral roots, seamlessly blending elements of hip-hop/rap, electro-pop, country, bossa nova and psychedelic soul. The EP is led by the electrifying single “PACKUPNGO!”, a high-energy track that showcases Nolan’s versatility and recalls the likes of PinkPantheress and KAYTRANADA, with vocals reminiscent of Doja Cat and Aminé.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind the EP, Nolan Lewis shares, “Do your eyeballs ever feel warm? is a love letter to my experience on spring break with The Wesleyan Spirits, a time characterised by moments of closeness that you cannot access in any other environment. I drew inspiration from the diverse musical tastes of my fellow group members. The EP is a true reflection of the well-roundedness of our group and the musical interests we share.”

With production, writing and recording completed in under a month, Do your eyeballs ever feel warm? captures the essence of Nolan’s musical journey and promises to resonate with audiences worldwide.

Do your eyeballs ever feel warm? is out now on all platforms.
