After a two-year break, Liverpool producer JEZTLS is back, and his new single, “Wanna Make U Happy (-:”, is a vibrant celebration of positivity and pure sonic bliss. This track isn’t just music – it’s a manifesto of happiness wrapped in shimmering synths, a nostalgic ’90s vocal sample and thunderous big-room beats.

JEZTLS’ journey back to releasing music hasn’t been easy. Losing a hard drive filled with unreleased work was a major setback, as he previously shared, but the adversity seems to have shaped a more focused, authentic approach. With “Wanna Make U Happy (-:”, he’s not chasing trends or algorithms; instead, he’s creating for himself and the people who truly love music.

The track’s charm lies in its simplicity. The lyrics – “’Cause I only wanna make you happy” – are a mantra, repeated over euphoric production that feels tailor-made for late-night dancefloors and sunlit festival moments. It’s impossible not to smile as the hypnotic rhythm takes hold, pulling you into JEZTLS’ uplifting world.

What makes this release even more exciting is how natural it all feels. JEZTLS revealed the song came together in just two weeks, sparked by an experiment in Logic Pro. That spontaneity shines through in the track, giving it a fresh, unforced energy that’s rare in today’s somewhat over-engineered electronic landscape.

Beyond this single, JEZTLS is gearing up for more. His collaboration with Portuguese producer Bandicut and an upcoming EP promise to bring even more dimension to his sound. But for now, “Wanna Make U Happy (-:” is a glorious return that sets the tone for the next chapter in his career.
